Grilled Tofu
 
1 package extra-firm tofu, drained
1/2 cup Italian salad dressing (low fat version is okay too)
salt & pepper

Slice the tofu in pieces about 1/2 inch thick.  Place the tofu on
a baking sheet lined with paper towel and cover it with more paper
towel.  Top this with another baking sheet and weigh the top sheet
with heavy objects for 20 minutes.  This will press out most of the
moisture in the tofu.

Remove the wet paper towels and pour off any water on the baking
sheet.

Combine salt and pepper with the Italian salad dressing and brush
it liberally on both sides of the tofu slices.

Heat the oven to 400F, (or if you have those George Foreman grill,
arrange the slices on the grill), grill the tofu until nicely
browned, turning it once midway through the cooking.

Toss the grilled tofu slices with your favorite salad.
