SPICY GREEN BEANS Serves 4 1 med. onion, thinly sliced ( 1/2 c) 1 large garlic clove, minced or pressed 1 T minced chiles (or to taste) 2 T vegetable oil 2 c stemmed, haved green beans 1 fresh tomato, chopped (3/4 c) 1/2 c water salt to taste In a medium saucepan or skillet, saute the onions, garlic, and chiles in the oil until the onions are translucent. Add the beans are tender, 5 to 15 minutes. Stir occasionally. Add salt to taste. Printable version: spicy-green-beans.txt.
