Low-Fat Peas With Golden Onions 1 teaspoons olive oil 1 onion, thinly sliced and separated into rings 1/2 cup reduced-fat chicken broth 1 teaspoon dried thyme 1/2 teaspoon low-sodium lemon herb seasoning 1 package (10 ounces) frozen peas 1 tablespoon snipped fresh dillweed In a skillet, heat oil. Add onions. Cook, stirring often, until onions are golden, about six to eight minutes. (14 golden carrots may be what your wife prefers, but a man's got to eat.) Add broth, thyme and herb seasoning. Bring to a boil. Stir in peas. Reduce heat to low. Cover and cook for five minutes. Uncover and cook until broth evaporates. Sprinkle with dill. Makes 4 servings. Printable version: peas-onions.txt.
