Steamed Kale With Lemon Miso Serving: Serves: 6 2 cups water 1/2 lemon, cut into three pieces 1 1/2 teaspoons peeled and finely chopped ginger 1/4 cup white miso 1 cup diced daikon 1 cup diced carrots 2 cups fresh chopped kale, packed Put the water, lemon, ginger, and miso in a saucepan and bring to a simmer, stirring to dissolve the miso. Add the daikon and carrots and cook until the vegetables are tender. Then add the kale and mix well. Simmer 3 to 5 minutes. Remove the lemon pieces. Serve hot. Printable version: kale-miso.txt.
