Grilled Chayote with Parmesan and Bread Crumbs 2 chayote squashes Parmesan cheese (shredded) bread crumbs butter Cut chayotes in half and remove seeds. Cook is lightly salted boiling water. When cooked, peel, and poke with a fork. Spread on butter, parmesan and bread crumbs. Grill for 10/15 minutes on medium. Printable version: grilled-chayote.txt.
