Gingered Peas and Peppers 1 tablespoon vegetable oil 1/2 cup julienne red or green bell pepper 1/2 cup chopped onion 1/2 teaspoon minced fresh ginger 15 1/2 oz can sweet peas, drained 1 tablespoon toasted sesame seeds salt and pepper, to taste In a saucepan, heat the oil and add the bell pepper, onion, and ginger. Cook over low heat until soft. Do not brown. Add the peas and sesame seeds. Cover and heat through. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Serve. Printable version: gingered-peas.txt.
