Fried Dandelions Fried dandelions are cooked the same way as fried green tomatoes, in a soft batter, not a crunchy one. Just pop the heads off, green part included, dip in batter, and deep fry until light golden brown. Our girl scout troop did this one time and it was delicious. Use the leaves for a salad.
