Curried Creamed Radishes
Serves 4.

2 cups radishes, trimmed
1 tablespoon butter
1 tablespoon flour
1/4 teaspoon curry powder
3/4 cup milk
salt, to taste

Cut washed and trimmed radishes in half. Cover with water and cook,
covered, for 10 minutes. Drain. Melt butter and stir in flour and
curry powder. Add milk and cook, stirring, until thickened. Add
radishes and heat. Season to taste with salt.
