Deep-Fried Oysters with Avocado Sauce 1 1/2 dozen oysters flour 1 lightly beaten egg 2 Tbs milk 1 1/2 cups dried breadcrumbs 2 Tbs sour cream oil for deep frying 1 avocado 1 chopped spring onion 1 Tbs lemon juice 1 Tbs water 1 clove garlic, crushed Toss the oysters in flour, dip in combined egg and milk, then coat with breadcrumbs. Deep fry in hot oil until lightly browned. Blend avocado, onion, lemon juice, water and garlic until smooth. Serve over the oysters with a little sour cream. Printable version: fried-oysters01.txt.
