Tartar Sauce 1 cup mayonnaise (or salad cream) 2 tablespoons chopped gherkins 2 tablespoons chopped capers 1 teaspoon chopped chives 1/2 teaspoon tarragon 1/4 teaspoon chervil 1/4 teaspoon dry mustard powder 2 teaspoons anchovy sauce Put all ingredients into a bowl and mix thoroughly. Allow to stand for at least 30 minutes - this allows the flavours to permeate. Printable version: tartar-sauce01.txt.
