PEANUT CARAMEL SAUCE
(Makes about 1-1/2 cups) 

1 cup light brown sugar, firmly packed
1 tblsp all-purpose flour
1/8 tsp salt
1 cup water
1/2 cup peanut butter
1 tsp vanilla

In a medium saucepan, mix sugar, flour and salt.  Stir in water.
Cook and stir over low heat until mixture comes to a full rolling
boil.  Add peanut butter and bring again to a boil, stirring
constantly until smooth.  Remove from heat.  Add vanilla.

Serve hot or cold over ice cream.
