Melba Sauce Yields 1/2 cup 1 cup (250 ml) raspberries 1/4 cup sugar Crush berries. may strain for seeds if desired. Add sugar and cook over low heat, stirring constantly until the consistency of heavy syrup. ( about 2-3 minute) Will thicken more on cooling Split fresh ripe or overripe peach, scoop of ice cream, 2 tbls melba sauce. A teaspoon of Framboise dessert wine can be added.
