Japanese Ginger Dipping Sauce 1/2 cup soy sauce 2 tablespoons rice wine vinegar or white wine vinegar 2 tablespoons sugar Hot pepper sauce to taste 1 tablespoon freshly minced gingerroot 2 teaspoons thinly sliced scallion Combine soy sauce, vinegar, sugar and hot sauce in small bowl; stir until sugar dissolves. Stir in gingerroot and scallion. Set aside to allow flavors to develop. Yield 3/4 cup Printable version: ginger-dipping.txt.
