PRAWNS ON BROWN BREAD WITH MAYONNAISE 6 oz. cooked prawns or shrimp 4-8 leaves of butter lettuce or Oakleaf lettuce 4 tbs. home-made mayonnaise (without garlic) 4 slices buttered Irish brown bread sprigs of watercress or flat parsley 4 lemon wedges Put a slice of buttered bread on a plate, arrange 1 or 2 lettuce leaves on top and place 5 or 6 good sized prawns on the lettuce. Pipe a coil of mayonnaise on the prawns. Garnish with lemon wedges and sprigs of watercress or parsley. Printable version: prawn.txt.
