Mushrooms on Bread

4 large flat mushrooms
1 clove crushed garlic
40g melted butter
1 avocado, sliced
1 cup grated cheese
1 Tbs finely chopped parsley
4 thick slices of white bread

Grease an oven tray.  Take out the stems of the mushrooms.  Peel
if necessary.  Place mushroom on the tray.  Combine the garlic and
butter; brush over mushrooms.  Lay slices of avocado over the
mushrooms; top with cheese and parsley.

Cut the bread into rounds with a biscuit cutter.  Place on the oven
tray with the mushrooms.  Bake at 180 C until the cheese is melted
and the mushrooms are soft.  The bread should dry and lightly
golden.  Put the mushrooms on top of the bread and serve.
