Beefburger 4 pound hambuger 1/2 medium onion chopped 3 cups tomato juice 1 envelope williams or hypowder chili powder 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper 1 teaspoon chili powder 1/2 teasoppn thyme 2 teaspoon salt Brown hambuger in a small amount of oil, breaking up the hambuger as it cooks. Add onions, cook until onions are translucent. Add tomato juice and seasonings, bring to a boilling point. Turn down heat and simmer for 45 minutes. Note: this recipe can be use as sloppy joes or can be served over noodles. Add chili beans and you have chili. Printable version: beefburger.txt.
