Potato Salad with Cooked Dressing

2-3 qt. cooked diced potatoes
1 lg. chopped onion
1 tsp. celery seeds

2 eggs, beaten
1/2 cup water
3 tsp. flour
1/4 cup sugar
6 tbsp. vinegar
2 tbsp. butter

Mix together and let come to a boil.  Cook until thick.  Add 1/2
cup cream or you can use 1/2 cup mayonnaise.  Pour dressing over
potato mixture.
