Mountain Ash (Rowan) Liqueur 2 c mountain ash fruit 2 whole cloves 1/2 inch piece cinnamon stick 1 lemon, zest only 1 c sugar 2 c vodka Place all the ingredients in a tightly sealed jar and leave for 6 months. Expose jar to sunlight for the first week, shaking frequently. Then set aside in a cool dark place for the remaining time. Then strain through a cloth into another glass jar and store in a cool dark place for 4 more months. Printable version: rowan-liqueur.txt.
