Raspberry Hot Waffle Sauce Stem and rinse 2 cups fresh rasperries. Puree in a blender or food processor. Combine 1/2 c sugar, and 1 Tbs. cornstarch in a saucepan. Stir in 1/2 water til mixture is smooth. Stir in the pureed berries and 1 cup raspberries (optional). Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Let boil one minute. Remove from heat and stir in lemon juice. this makes about 2 cups of sauce and is good over hot cakes of all kinds, as well as for ice cream Can be canned. Printable version: raspberry-syrup02.txt.
