Glazed Pineapple 3 1/2 cups sliced canned pineapple. 2 cups sugar 1/3 cup light corn syrup 3 1/2 cups sliced canned pineapple. Drain and reserve juice from canned pineapple. Dry slices with a cloth or paper towel. Add sugar and corn syrup to the juice: Stir and bring these ingredients to a boil in a large, heavy pan. Add the fruit, but do not crowd it. Simmer until the fruit is transparent. Lift pineapple from syrup. Drain it on racks until thoroughly dry. Place between waxed paper and store tightly covered. Printable version: glazed-pineapple.txt.
