Fig Chutney 4 lbs figs 3 lbs onions 1 cup sultanas 1 dessertspoon ginger cayenne to taste 3 lbs tomatoes 3 lbs brown sugar 2 tablespoons salt 1 teaspoon ground cloves Cut everything, mincing onions. Add other ingredients and cover with vinegar. Let stand over night. Boil for 3 hours or until thickened. Printable version: fig-chutney.txt.
