Pickled Banana Peppers After washing, but leaving stems in tact, pack peppers tightly in quart jars. Add 1 tsp. salt, 1/2 tsp. sugar, 1 Tbsp olive oil and then fill the rest of the way with boiling white vinegar. Cap and process in a water bath for 20 minutes. Note: Add a clove or three of garlic in the jar with the peppers. Printable version: banana-peppers02.txt.
