Wine Glazed Ham Steaks
 
1 lb center-cut ham slice 1" thick

1/2 c dry white wine
1/4 c orange juice
1/4 c maple syrup
1 tb cornstarch, dissolved in 2 tsps white wine vinegar
1/2 ts dry mustard
1/4 ts ground ginger

Combine all ingredients except ham in saucepan.  Bring the sauce
to a slow boil, stirring constantly, then reduce heat and simmer
for a few minutes. Grill ham over mesquite coals.  Brush frequently
with sauce on both sides, allowing 10 minutes of cooking time for
each side.  When done, place ham on serving dish, and pour remaining
sauce over entire dish.
