PEAR AND PECAN PIE pears 3/4 cup brown sugar 2 eggs 1/4 teaspoon salt 1/2 cup pecans 1/2 cup cornstarch or flour 1/2 teaspoon lemon juice Slice pears to fill an unbaked pie crust. Mix together brown sugar, eggs, salt, pecans, cornstarch and lemon juice and pour over the pears. Bake at 325 degrees for 20 minutes or until pears are done. Variation: Make with canned pears, using some of the juice. Printable version: pear-pecan.txt.
