LIMEADE PIE 14 oz can sweetened condensed milk 6 oz can frozen limeade concentrated, thawed, undiluted 1/2 cup lime juice 1/4 teaspoon butter flavoring 2 or 3 drops liquid green food coloring 6 oz container frozen whipped topping, thawed 2 6-oz chocolate flavored crumb crusts, or pre-baked pie shells lime slices for garnish Combine first 5 ingredients in a large mixing bowl. Beat at medium speed with mixer until well blended. Stir in 2 cups shipped topping into lime mixture. Gradually fold in 4 cups whipped topping into lime mixture. Retain 1 cup topping for garnish. Spoon mixture into prepared crusts. Dollop reserved whipped topping around edges of pies. Cover with Saran wrap loosely and freeze. Garnish as desired and serve. Yields 2 pies. These store like a dream in the freezer until needed for up to one month. Printable version: limeade.txt.
