Grapefruit Pie

4 large or 5 small grapefruits
1 cup sugar
1 3/4 cups grapefruit juice from grapefruits
pinch salt
2 tablespoons cornstarch
3 oz. box strawberry Jello

Remove all fibrous tissue from grapefruits. Cut into bite size
pieces. Drain all night, save juice. Combine in a saucepan, sugar,
grapefruit juice, salt and cornstarch. Cook until clear, then add
strawberry Jello. Stir until dissolved. Remove from heat and cool
until it begins to set. Stir in grapefruit. Pour into a baked pie
shell or graham cracker crust. Put in refrigerator until set. Top
with cool whip just before serving.
