Cinnamon Custard Pie

2 cups small curd cottage cheese
1/4 cup milk
1 cup sugar
3 large eggs, slightly beaten
1 tbs flour
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/8 tsp salt
1 9 inch pie shell
1 tsp sugar
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon

Combine the cottage cheese and milk in large bowl, with electric
mixer on medium speed mix until smooth.  In another bowl combine
cottage cheese/milk mixture with 1 cup sugar and next 4 ingredients;
stir well.  Pour into pie shell.  Combine 1 tsp sugar and the
cinnamon; mix well.  Sprinkle over the ingredients in pie shell.
Bake at 450 degrees for 5 minutes.  Reduce the oven temperature to
350 degrees and bake 20-25 minutes or until knife inserted in the
center comes out clean.  Can be served warm or at room temperature.
