7-Up Strawberry Pie 1 pt. fresh strawberries 1 baked pie crust 1 carton frozen whipped topping or canned whipped topping 1 (10 oz.) bottle 7-Up 1 c. sugar 3 Tbsp. cornstarch 1 1/2 tsp. red food color Mix sugar and cornstarch in large saucepan. Add 7-Up and cook over medium heat for about 20 minutes or until thickens and assumes a syrup like appearance, next add food color. Place strawberries in baked pie crust. Pour syrup over strawberries and refrigerate. After syrup has completely jelled, top pie with whipped topping. Printable version: 7-up-strawberry.txt.
