Seafood Pasta Yield: 2 servings. 1 1/2 lb lobster 1/2 cup olive oil 8 littleneck clams and mussels scrubbed 4 cloves garlic chopped 1/2 cup white wine 2 cups fresh marinara sauce or 2 cups drained canned tomatoes coarse chopped 1/4 lb calamari cleaned and cut into rings 8 sea scallops 4 jumbo shrimp cleaned and deveined 3/4 lb linguine 1/2 bunch Italian parsley chopped 1/4 cup fresh basil coarse chopped salt and pepper, crushed red pepper flakes Cut lobster in half, crack claws, remove sack from body. In a large saute pan heat olive oil over medium heat. Add lobster, clams mussels and cook for 5 minutes. Add garlic and cook for 30 seconds more. Add wine and tomatoes and cook 7 minutes covered. Add remainder of seafood and cook 5 minutes covered. Meanwhile cook pasta in salted boiling water. Remove seafood from pan with 1 cup of sauce and set aside. Drain pasta well and add to remaining sauce in pan. Cook high for one minute. Add parsley and basil. Season with salt, and pepper to taste. Place pasta on platter and arrange seafood over pasta.
