Yemenite Chicken In Soup 3 lbs. chicken pieces 2 potatoes (diced) 3 carrots (diced) 2 tomatoes (cut into pieces) 2-3 stalks of celery (sliced thin) 1/2 cup catsup 1 teaspoon cumin Salt & pepper to taste Fill 2/3rds of a 4-5 quart pot with water. Add chicken - bring water to boil. Bring to simmer. Add cut up vegetables. Simmer for 1/2 hour. Add catsup, pepper, salt and cumin. Continue to simmer until chicken is soft. Serve soup with chicken whole or remove chicken from bones. Printable version: chicken-soup01.txt.
