SHRIMP SOUP
(Caldo de Camaron)

3.5 oz. dry shrimp
2 carrots coarsely chopped
10 small potatoes diced
2 laurel leaves
serrano chili and red pepper as desired

Clean and rinse shrimp to get rid of the saltiness.  Boil shrimp
and potatoes in a pot for approximately 10 minutes. Add carrots,
chili and laurel. When the vegetables are tender, add red pepper.
It is not necessary to add salt.
