Flour Tortillas 8 cups flour 3 Tsp. salt 3 cups hot water (dough should be damp but not wet) 4 Tsp. baking powder By hand knead till smooth roll out like a snake. Pull off small balls of dough. roll each of these and slightly flatten. Keep under a cloth table cloth to keep from drying out. On a floured surface roll out into rounds. Cook on griddle medium heat at first. then over a wire grill on high. they will puff up remove from heat. If using a food processor cut recipe in half. mix all ingredients until it forms a ball. divide each in half and re process three more times. lightly knead and finish as described above Printable version: flour-tortillas09.txt.
