BAKED PHEASANT WITH WILD RICE DRESSING

1 to 2 pheasants
4 to 6 slices bacon
1 box Uncle Ben's wild rice
1 cup mushrooms
1 small onion, chopped

Prepare wild rice according to directions on box except add mushrooms
and onion. When rice is cooked place rice in cavity of the pheasants.
Place the pheasants in deep baking dish. Lay the bacon over the
breast, legs and thighs of the pheasants. Bake in 350 degrees oven
for 1 to 1 1/2 hours depending on size of pheasants. For serving
unstuff the bird and crumble bacon in dressing. Carve the pheasant
same as a chicken. This can also be used in preparing partridge.
