What about those people who are not so lucky as to live in the USA ? How can they order a CD ? I see no possibility on your form for ordering. There's lots of us out there ! Keep cooking !
My son was dying , he is getting a little better and I have not been on line much since January. I use you preserves section, dry mixes and cookie bars sections very often. I went to make my pumpkin pickles and butter and preserves . So I went to your site and they are no longer there. Could you please tell me if these 3 sections are on the cd rom? If so are they there in their entirety. Thank you so much . I loved your site as it was. I hope you can find a way to save it .May God bless you ,as you have me and many others with all your work. I am putting you on my prayer request posts.love and hugs...jo...God bless
Hi Stephanie, Just wanted to drop a line to say thank you for the pumpkin cheese cake recipe. I am going to try it for Thanksgiving. Sincerely, Kevin
Hi, What a great recipes you have on your web site! I'm always looking for something different to cook, and voil=E1... I found your website. I live in Panama (CA), and lately have come across "Huevos de Toro" (balls of a bull!), but nobody seems to know how to cook them! Would you have a recipe for that? Would greatly appreciate if you could send it to me. Thanks, Annelize
I love it! Thanks for all your work Pamy
Hi Stephanie I've used your site for years, and it was the absolute best, bar none. Sometimes I would browse recipes only to marvel at the range of expertise required from one to the next - there was something for everyone here, whether you wanted to start from scratch with fresh ingredients, or just open some cans and stir a few times. It was obviously a labor of love for you, and I'm sorry to see it succumb to economics. I visited the site often enough that I'd be willing to pay an annual fee to use it. I hope more people feel the same way so that this killer resource can get back to its former self. Good luck! Bob Myles
Many thanks for sending me the recipe CD that I purchased via your web site - it made it to London UK despite the Xmas mail. Just a thought to improve your service. I didn't recognise your name on the outside of the envelope and the disk inside was unlabelled. It would be helpful if you either wrote "Wonderful Recipes" with a felt pen on the CD or else printed some labels (more expensive). Anyway we are delighted with the contents and having already used your website for a splendid Kleftiko we look forward to many a colourful and flavourful meal. Thanks again.
Thank you for making looking for Mexican foods so easy...especially when "one" me has trouble spelling Mexican words. This is a great site! It's been booked marked. Sincerely, Cynthia Naanes
Dear Stephanie, Thank you so much for your prompt attention to my order problem. The CD for my daughter-in-law has arrived safely and will find a home in her Christmas stocking. Keep up the great work on your site -- it's my very favorite. Mary Ann Happy Holidays!
Hi, Since leaving San Diego, Ca and coming to NY I can't ever find any good = Mexican food, especially nobody has chili rellenos. I love your site. Help - you have so many rellenos recipes which is your favorite??? Pam
I would be interested in a nominal fee. I don't use your site that often, but when I need to it has saved me countless research hours. Consider hooking up with AOL for billing as that is most convenient and secure. Please advise me how I am to use your data base in the future. Again, I am willing to pay a small yearly fee or some other means of payment. thank you
I ordered the CD from you when you had to take most of the recipes off of the web site. I just have to say that I haven't been using it because I can't decipher all the abbreviations of what each food item is. So, it's disappointing. Maybe a suggestion for future CDs is to put the full names in there. Otherwise, browsing and searching is impossible. =20 Thanks, =20 Suzy Rollman MSN Content Manager MSN Programming & Customer Delivery Phone: 425-705-7666

I wanted to order the CD - is it the same recipes as the 64 thousand or so you originally had? I was sorry to see the site change - it was excellent with all the choices. I used to think I couldn't cook that well until I found your site. Then I would search all the recipes for say "fudge" and find one that I could make with ingrediences that I was familiar with. All of a sudden, I could cook, and pretty well, I might add. Anyway, let me know if you have any CD's still available. Thank you for the site and sorry to hear of the changes, Cyndee

Dear Stephanie,
Be careful about the cost to you of burning fresh CDs for $20. That is a bit low when you consider your own time and effort. Back around 1980, businesses had priced the cost of producing a personal letter response at about $30 each, when you include the executive effort to write the letter, the secretary's time to type it and then make a duplicate for the file as well as address the envelope and postage. It is probably much more now, but I think it is a comparable example of overhead costs for producing those CDs on the fly. Check how much time you need to do this and budget your time at a reasonable professional business rate, $30 up to $400 an hour depending on your personal expertise. Don't forget your overhead in terms of cost of the supplies to produce the CDs and power. From what I've seen most budgeting of this sort does not include capital costs for equipment, but that never made any sense to me. Thus include that as you see fit. I would amortize the equipment costs over the expected sales, and apportion time according to how much of the time is used to produce the CDs as opposed to your personal use of the equipment.
I'm amazed how many people have no idea how to charge for their work. I watched many businesses around here fail because the charged what they thought was a fair rate rather than what it actually cost them. I have a friend who has a fishing tackle shop that has never broken even in 20 years. Fortunately, this is a retirement business as he made fortune as a fishing captain and can afford to lose money on this fishing tackle shop. He runs the shop to keep in touch with all the friends and people he meet when he was a fishing boat captain. Then again, he still works too hard and under prices his merchandise and services.

Bill S I just wanted to take this time to thank you for your web-sight on recipes. I have been divorced for three years now and not a very good cook...I can boil a mean pot of water though. I am dating a beautiful woman who is Italian and can make anything taste great. I decided it was my turn to make a good dinner for her...I did ask her how she like chili hot dogs and of course she laughed...hum... I went to my search engine and your web-sight was listed and behold...I was very impressed. I just printed a recipe from it on Halibut Dijonnaise...much tastier than chili dogs for sure. I am fixing this dinner tonight and know it will be wonderful thanks to your recipe list...thank you, thank you, thank you...will certainly be referring to your web-sight a lot in the future. With Best Wishes, Bill Shoulders Rockford Illinois USA

Return-Path: Hello Stephanie, I loved your recipe website and check every now and then to see if any news about whether there has been found a way to start it up again, even for a modest price per participant. Any news? Is the CD still growing, and is it still available? Thanks so much for all your great work in making these recipes available in such an organized and handy website. It was my first place to check when looking for a recipe, and very often was also the only place I had to look. best wishes, and many thanks, no matter what happens to the website, Jane Jane Vogelzang Library Asst IV 204 TS Parks Library Iowa State University Ames, IA 50011 (515) 294-0429 jevogel@iastate.edu

I remember 60 years ago my mother used to make a cake she called a Hazelnut Torte. It was a two layer cake as I remember it with a filling in the middle of whipped cream and crushed pineapple. I remember the merangue-like topping with the toasted hazel nuts on the top. It was delicious! I lost the recipe and I think yours must be mighty close to it. Thought you might find this interesting.. Bill Anderson
