Mexican Layer Dip

15 oz can refried beans
1 pint sour cream
1 packet taco meat mix
1 small onion, very finely diced
2 cups cheese
2 cups lettuce
1 large tomato, seeded, finely diced
4 oz. black olives, sliced

Mix together sour cream and taco mix.  Using a large casserole or
Pyrex pan. Spread the can of beans over the bottom of the pan.
Add the sour cream mixture and spread evenly.  Then sprinkle with
onion, cheese, lettuce, tomato and olives.  This is the most popular
addition to any party I've ever had.
