Spiced Apple-Pecan Dip and Spread 2 cups unsweetened applesauce 1/2 cup chopped, pitted dates 2 Tablespoons chopped pecans, toasted 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg In blender or food processor, combine all ingredients until smooth. Refrigerate overnight to allow flavors to blend. Makes 2 cups.
