Surprise Pudding 2/3 cup sugar 1 cup flour 1 teaspoon cinnamon 1/4 teaspoon salt 2 teaspoons baking powder 1/2 cup nuts, chopped 1/2 cup raisins 1/2 cup milk 1 cup brown sugar 2 tablespoons butter 2 cans hot water Mix batter ingredients together. and pour into a buttered 8X8 cake pan. Mix the sauce ingredients until the sugar dissolves and butter is melted. Pour over batter mixture. Bake 40 min in a 325 degree oven. Serve with whipped cream. Printable version: surprise.txt.
