Washing Day Pudding
  
1 cup butter
1 1/2 cups self rising flour
Pinch Salt
1 cup milk
Golden Syrup
 
Rub butter through flour and salt till like breadcrumbs, mix in
milk.  Steam in buttered basin for 1 1/2 hours.  Serve with golden
syrup and cream.
