Drumstick Skillet 1 package chicken drumsticks 1 talbespoon butter 1 2/3 cup water 6 oz rice 2 cups vegetables such as green beans, peas and/or carrots herbs and spices of your choice Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add chicken. Cover and cook 8 minutes, turning once. Remove chicken. Add water, rice, seasonings, and vegetables, stir well. Top with chicken. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover and simmer 20 to 25 minutes or until liquid is absorbed and juices run clear when chicken is pierced. Remove from heat; let stand covered 5 minutes before serving.
