Cheesy Chicken Casserole 1/4 stick margarine 1 tbsp flour 1 green pepper chopped fine (optional) 16 oz chopped mushrooms 4 oz can chopped pimento (optional) 2 cups cooked and chopped chicken 1 large can evaporated milk or 1 cup regular milk 1 can cream of mushroom soup 1 can cream of chicken soup 1/2 lb grated cheddar cheese Saute green pepper in margarine, and add flour, mushrooms, and pimento. A little later add both cans of soups, milk and 1/2 of the cheese and cook until hot and bubbly. Add the chicken. Cook the spghetti and put into a greased baking dish. Pour sauce over the noodles and mix. Bake at 350 for about an hour or until bubbly and browned. Add rest of cheese and bake until melted. Printable version: cheesy-chicken01.txt.
