PEAR CAKE 2 cups sugar 1 1/2 cup vegetable oil 3 eggs 3 cups flour 1 tsp cinnamon 1 tsp vanilla 1 large can pears, drained and chopped 1 cup nuts Cream sugar and oil; add eggs and vanilla; beat well. Add flour with spoon then add pears and nuts. Pour in greased pan and bake 1 1/2 hours at 325 degrees. Icing 1 cup powdered sugar 2 spoons pear juice Add hot water to sugar (just enough to make it thin enough to pour over cake). Let cool. Printable version: pear01.txt.
