Gold Cake 1 1/2 cups sugar 1/2 cup milk 3 cups flour essence of vanilla 3/4 cup butter yolks of 8 eggs 3 teaspoons baking powder Mix the sugar and butter to a cream. Add the yolks of the eggs, then the milk. Sift in the flour and baking powder and beat well. Bake in a well heated oven for 1 hour and 10 minutes
