Genoise 6 whole eggs 1 cup granulated sugar 1 cup flour 6 tablespoon melted butter or margarine 1 teaspoon vanilla extract With an electric beater, beat eggs and sugar about 5 minutes, until very light coloured. Add vanilla. Gradually fold in flour. Fold in butter, one tablespoon at a time. Bake in a greased and floured springform at 350F for about 40 minutes, or until fork inserted in the middle comes out clean. If you want to make a chocolate genoise, reduce the flour by 1/2 and replace it with cocoa. Printable version: genoise.txt.
