Olive Bread

Small (1 Lb.)     Ingredients                    Large (1-1/2 lb)

1 tsp             active dry yeast               1-1/4 tsp
2 cups            bread flour                    3 cups
1/4 cup           whole wheat flour              1/3 cup
1 TBL             sugar                          1 1/2 TBL
1/4 tsp           salt                           1/2 tsp
1 tsp             dried thyme leaves             1 1/2 tsp
2 TBL             olive oil                      3 TBL
3/4 cup + 2 TBL   water                          1 1/4 cups
1/4 cup           pitted, chopped black olives   1/3 cup

Add all ingredients except the black olives in the order suggested
by your bread machine manual and process on the basic bread cycle
according to the manufacturer's directions.

At the beep (or at the end of the first kneading in the Panasonic
or National), add the olives.  Let the loaf cool before slicing.
