Gingery Bread 1/12 Pound loaf 3/4 cup water 1/4 cup molasses 2 tablespoons margarine or butter, softened 1 teaspoon grated lemon peel 3 cups bread flour 1 teaspoon salt 1 teaspoon ground ginger 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon 1 1/2 teaspoons Yeast 2 Pound loaf 1 1/3 cup water 1/4 cup molasses 2 tablespoons margarine or butter, softened 1 teaspoon grated lemon peel 4 cups bread flour 1 1/2 teaspoon salt 1 teaspoon ground ginger 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon 1 teaspoons yeast Measure carefully, placing all ingredients in bread machine pan in the order recommended by the manufacturer. Select Basic/White cycle. Use medium or light crust color. Remove baked bread from pan and cool on a wire rack. Printable version: ginger01.txt.
