Whole Wheat Apple Bread - Regular Loaf 1 2/3 cups water 4 cups whole wheat flour 2 tablespoons sugar 1 1/2 tablespoons dry milk 1 teaspoon salt 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon 4 tablespoons vital wheat gluten 1 1/2 tablespoons butter 3/4 cup diced dried apple 2 teaspoons active dry yeast Precisely measure ingredients and add them into the baking pan in the following order. Water, flour, sugar, dry milk, salt, vital wheat gluten and butter. Make a depression in the middle of the flour and sprinkle yeast in it. MAKE SURE THE YEAST DOES NOT TOUCH ANY LIQUID. Insert the baking pan in the center of the oven cavity and press down on it until it clicks into place. Close the lid. Plug the unit into electric outlet. Select "Basic Wheat" and Press "Start/Reset". Add the diced dried apple when the Add "beep" sounds. When Bread is done, press and hold "Start/Reset" Key. Remove the bread. If blades remain in the bread, use a plastic spoon or spatula to remove. Be sure to unplug the unit. Yield: 1 loaf Printable version: apple-wheat02.txt.
