Almond Amaretto Loaf 1 cup milk 1 large gg 2 tablespoons butter 1/4 cup amaretto 1 teaspoon lemon juice 3/4 teaspoon salt 3 cups bread flour 1/2 cup chopped almonds, toasted 1/4 cup sugar 2 teaspoons bread machine yeast 1 cup powdered sugar 2 tablespoons amaretto 1 to 2 teaspoons milk 1/4 cup sliced almonds, toasted Put 1 cup milk, egg, butter, 1/4 cup amretto, lemon juice, salt, flour, 1/2 cup chopped almonds, sugar and yeast to bread machine pan in the order suggested by the manufacturer, adding the almonds with the flour. Select basic/white cycle, light or medium setting. Remove baked bread from pan, let cool. Sift powdered sugar into a bowl. Stir 2 tablespoons amaretto and as much milk as needed to make a good drizzling consistency. Drizzle over loaf, sprinkle with almonds. Printable version: almond-amaretto.txt.
