Thai Shrimp Salad 1 pound shrimp 3 tablespoons nam pla (Thai fish sauce, also called nuoc mam) 3 tablespoons lime juice 2 cloves garlic, minced 1/2 teaspoon cayenne 2 teaspoons lemon grass, powdered 1/4 red onion, thinly sliced 2 green onion, chopped 1 teaspoon coriander, chopped 1 head lettuce Place shrimp in a strainer; plunge into boiling, salted water to cover til barely done; drain. Combine shrimp, nam pla, lime juice, garlic cayenne, lemon grass, red onion, green onions and coriander. Chill. Serve over torn lettuce. ~ Printable version: thai-shrimp-salad03.txt.
