Stuffed Dates At Christmas time, I give a variety of stuffed dates which can be eaten as a snack with cocktails or a tasty treat after a big meal. In their most basic state, they are pitted dates with non-salted almonds in the middle. Variations include: soaking the dates in a bit of sherry for 5-10 minutes before stuffing. Rolling the dates in powdered sugar, granulated sugar, or shredded coconut after stuffing. Printable version: stuffed-dates.txt.
