SLOVAKIAN SALAMI CANAPES 1 cup finely chopped salami 6 to 7 tbs. butter 1 tbs. minced onion 3 tbs. minced dill pickle salt, pepper and cayenne - all to taste Combine ingredients and mix well. Serve on small crusty rolls, cut in halves. Makes about 1.75 cups. TOASTED GOUDA BREAD Cut very thick slices of very fresh country bread or wide French bread (not sourdough). Butter it lightly. Cover the top of the bread with a heavy coating of shredded Gouda cheese. Put under broiler until bubbly and browned. Printable version: salami-canapes01.txt.
